Well I must say, I definitely made some progress last weekend and the beginning of this week! Yay! Sunday I buckled down and sewed all day (Jimmy was at Drill so I had the house to myself...it worked out well he he). I put together the entire quilt top for my fall charm quilt. I've named it "Autumn Spice." Now I have to go to the quilt shop to find a good backing fabric...then I'll get right down to quilting! It's the first fall quilt I've made. Well, with the exception of Bonnie Hunter's "Old Tobacco Road" pattern I'm working on...but you can see the progress on that one. Ha. It's still in the stages of getting my leaders/enders done to m

ove on to the four-patches. This is my next "buckle down and just do it" project. It doesn't SEEM like a complicated pattern at all (and it's not, really), it's just small pieces and so it's time consuming. It'll sure be pretty when it's finished though. I'm using fall colors (oranges, reds, greens, browns, and creams/beiges). MMM....I love fall. I just want these quilts finished so I can curl up under them in front of the fire with my hunny and sip cider. Ah, the small joys in life...
